# Portugal Train (portugaltrain.com) > Independent English-language guide to Portugal's Alfa Pendular high-speed train (operated by CP — Comboios de Portugal): routes, schedules, stations, seat classes, and ticket booking through an affiliate partner. This site is not operated by CP or any Portuguese rail carrier; it is an independent informational guide. All ticket booking links redirect to rail.ninja (Rail Ninja), an independent third-party booking agency, and the site earns an affiliate commission on bookings made through its links. Data quality note: nearly every route page states two different, conflicting daily-departure counts on the same page (e.g. Lisbon→Porto shows both "38" and "15-19/day"; Lisbon→Faro shows an outlier "158" departures that looks like an error). FAQ answers site-wide render through a JS accordion and were not retrievable via a plain fetch — only the questions could be confirmed. Several station pages are missing basic facts (street address) despite their own FAQ asking for it, and the São Bento and Campanhã (Porto) station pages appear to share a duplicated 1875 opening-year fact that likely belongs to only one of them.
